I am Rev. Rolando Gomez Comon aka Apu Adman Aghama. I am a First Degree Correlian and Chief Priest of Luntiang Aghama Natural Divine Arts Shrine of Healinc In which is the First Correllian Formal Shrine that has been Incorporated and Recognized in the Philippines.
Though being recognized as a legal religious organization does not means that our Religion has been widely accepted by the public. As per the World Parliament of Religion, being a Correllian Wicca is categorized as a New Religious Movement. Even though we are a New Religious Movement, our religion advocates Traditional Indigenous Spirituality which our Tradition adhere through the concept of Nativism.
As a Wiccan Priest, we know our theology and practice. We perform it open to the public to spread awareness of our religion but reaching out to the public does not limit only in performing rituals and offering magickal services, such as on what i have witness to some Wiccan in our country who use their knowldge of the craft for Business. Though we in general believe in the law of exchange and i am glad that our tradition does not forbid us to do so. But our Work as a Correllian Priest serving in the Philippines is not only limitted in performing rituals and magical services.
Being a Filipino Pagan Priest, I am become a bridge of the Divinity for the People. We as a priest communicate the mind of Divinity to tell it to the people through our teachings and in our vlog which you can see at our YouTube Channel.
As Communicator, we also have the responsibility to become an Initiator which means that we have to walk our talk and set an example to the people that they maay have the pattern to follow. Aside from being a medium, As as Filipino Pagan Priest also becomes a Time Portal, We preserve our Indigenous CUlture and Tradition by making people experience it and not just simply allowing them to know. I as an Individual believe that Experience is a great teacher. Learning through reading or hearing is not enough for me. IN order to learn i have to experience it well to the extent if i need to translate into action even the exclamation mark that been written on our course book.
As a Filipino Pagan Priest, I also have this responsibility to heal the Trauma of our people from being colonized in the past. It is just over a hundred years when we gained our Freedom, but the souls of many Filipino still remember how we have been enslaved. And this i think is the reason why they are hesitant to Accept our Teachings in Luntiang Aghama because they do not want to be dominated again by a New Religion.
And as we do healing. FIlipino Pagan Priest must be also become a liberator, because as of this moment, there are many people who are tiued up to the chain of the past that still in power. Such as on the Teachings of the Foreign Religion such as Christianity and Islam.
The Filipino Pagan Priest Battle CRy is that: WE AS FILIPINO HAVE OUR OWN GOD! A God which can understand best. As as a devotee, we do not need to learn foreign language in order to serve the foreign god, we can just speak out of our mind and God will listen to us. As Filipino we have this illness, that whatever comes abroad specially if it comes in the USA it is the best. We are still trapped in this Colonial Mentality and whatever is imported it has the best quality.
