This is a picture I made while creating my novel Death On The Horizon Of Joy, a murder mystery set in ancient Egypt. This image is AkhutHinuwe (Horizon ofJoy), the large country house in the Nile Delta where most of the action takes place. This is the ground floor and the fenced yards, although there would be more unfanced land that is not shown. The image was meant to help me keep the setting coherent by giving me an actualimage of the spaces being described. The little people were added for scale and my own amusement.
